The Election Committee of the Haffa Area Continues to Receive Applications for Candidacy for the Syrian People's Assembly

The subcommittee for the People's Assembly elections in the Haffa area of Latakia Governorate continues to receive applications from citizens wishing to participate in the upcoming electoral entitlement, within the legally specified deadlines, and under the direct supervision of the relevant authorities to ensure the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.

The committee confirmed that the reception of applications is conducted in accordance with the executive instructions issued by the Higher Election Committee, and in line with Decree No. 143 concerning the temporary electoral system, noting that all procedures are carried out within specific and officially approved centers in the area.

This initiative comes as part of the ongoing preparations at the level of Latakia Governorate, where members of the subcommittees in various areas have taken the legal oath before the Higher Election Committee, in preparation for starting their duties in overseeing the electoral process.

The Haffa area is considered one of the vital districts in the governorate, witnessing notable interaction from community and official activities, amidst calls to enhance genuine popular representation and ensure wide participation in the elections scheduled between September 15 and 20.
