The Departure of the Egyptian Artist Said Sadiq at the Age of 80

The veteran Egyptian artist Said Sadiq passed away this morning, Friday, August 8, at the age of 80, after a rich artistic career that spanned decades, during which he distinguished himself with roles of evil and lawbreakers.
His son Louay Sadiq mourned his father on his personal Facebook page, saying: "Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we shall return.. The great man, my father (Said Sadiq), has passed away to the mercy of Allah."
He added that the funeral prayer will be held today after Friday prayers at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed, and the deceased will be buried in the family cemetery on the Fayoum Road.
Said Sadiq was famous for his strong roles in Egyptian cinema and drama, having participated in dozens of works that left a mark on the artistic scene. Among his most notable cinematic works are the film "The Emperor" with the artist Ahmed Zaki, and the film "The Tiger and the Female" starring Adel Imam, as well as the film "Keda Reda" with Ahmed Helmy.
In the field of television drama, the late artist stood out in the series "Naji Attallah's Squad" with Adel Imam, and the series "Truth and Illusion" in which he co-starred with the artist Fifi Abdo, alongside the series "I Will Not Live in My Father's Cloak" with Nour El Sherif.
