Almost Complete Absence of Artists at Diyala Al-Wadi's Funeral

Followers of Syrian drama were shocked by the almost complete absence of artists from the funeral ceremonies of the artist Diyala Al-Wadi, who was killed in a horrific crime inside her home in Damascus, where Firas Ibrahim was the only artist who stood to bid her farewell amidst feelings of sadness and sorrow.

This absence sparked a wave of harsh criticism across social media platforms, where many followers expressed their shock and discontent at the absence of Diyala's colleagues, considering it a shortcoming towards the deceased.

Diyala Al-Wadi was murdered early last Monday in the upscale Al-Malki neighborhood, where the internal security in Damascus revealed the involvement of a domestic worker in collaboration with another person in a robbery that ended in the murder. The two suspects have been arrested and the investigation is ongoing in preparation for their referral to the judiciary.
