Egyptian Actor Emad Muharram Passes Away at the Age of 74 After a Battle with Illness

Egyptian actor Emad Muharram passed away this morning, Wednesday, June 25, at the age of 74, after a long struggle with illness. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Sheikh Zayed in Giza, after numerous medical attempts to improve his health.
A source close to the late actor's family confirmed to "Al Arabiya.net" and "Al Hadath.net" that Muharram had been suffering from recurring health crises over the past four years, during which he was transferred between intensive care units due to a weak heart muscle and low blood oxygen levels. His condition only saw limited periods of stability.
The source added that the late actor had suffered a stroke months ago affecting his speech ability, followed by another stroke that further deteriorated his condition, ultimately leading to his death.
Emad Muharram was born on June 8, 1951, and began his acting career in the seventies of the last century. He appeared in films like "A Delicious Journey," then diversified his work between cinema and television, most notably in "The Jinn" with Amr Diab and Madeeha Kamel, "The Hidden" with Nadia El Gendy, and "The Strongest Men" with Nour El Sherif, in addition to "At the Minister's Door" and "Who Among Us is the Thief?".
His last artistic appearance was in the series "Hidden Worlds" with the actor Adel Imam during Ramadan 2014, before he stepped out of the spotlight due to his declining health.
