Angelina Jolie bids farewell to the legendary Los Angeles mansion.. and plans a life without borders

In a move that reflects the beginning of a new chapter in her life, global star Angelina Jolie has decided to put her historic luxury mansion in Los Angeles up for sale, in preparation for her departure from the United States after years spent in the city due to complicated custody arrangements with her ex-husband, actor Brad Pitt.

According to People magazine, Jolie has never been a fan of staying for long periods in Los Angeles, but she preferred to stay close to her six children: Maddox (24 years old), Pax (21 years old), Zahara (20 years old), Shiloh (19 years old), and twins Knox and Vivienne (17 years old). Jolie intends to start a new journey once the twins turn 18, which will give her the freedom to travel between various international destinations she is currently considering.

The mansion that Jolie purchased in 2017 for $24.5 million is one of the finest historic properties in Los Angeles, built in 1913, covering an area of 11,000 square feet, and includes six bedrooms and ten bathrooms, along with spacious gardens and distinctive recreational areas.

The property carries a rich cinematic legacy, as it was once owned by legendary director Cecil B. DeMille, while the great star Charlie Chaplin lived next door before the two properties were merged.
