In a tragic incident, a 14-year-old Brazilian boy died after taking a strange challenge online, where he injected himself with a mixture of dead butterfly remains and water.
"Davi Nunez Moreira" passed away at a hospital in Planalto, Brazil, as his health suddenly deteriorated, suffering severe vomiting after initially telling his father he was stung while playing.

However, as his condition worsened, Davi confessed to the doctor that he bought a dead butterfly from a pharmacy, mixed it with water, and injected the liquid into his leg.
Davi died shortly after being admitted to the hospital, causing shock in Brazil, with speculations circulating about his death being linked to a strange online challenge.

Police have started investigating the circumstances of the death, awaiting the full autopsy results to determine if the poisonous butterfly could be the reason behind his sudden body shutdown.
Experts pointed out that butterflies, especially the "Monarch butterfly," contain toxins stored in their bodies, but they confirmed that these toxins are usually in very low concentrations that do not pose a significant threat to humans.

Davi's father found the syringe his son used in an unexpected place under his pillow while cleaning the house.
The horrifying incident sparked angry reactions on social media, with some pointing out that the current generation is engaging in strange internet challenges without considering the consequences.

This incident is not unique, as other internet challenges have led to similar accidents; in a previous incident, a Brazilian influencer almost lost part of her foot after participating in a dangerous online challenge.

It is evident that internet challenges have become a real danger to teenagers' lives if they continue to follow these dangerous trends.
