Syrian Minister of Tourism Mazen Al-Salhani arrived today, Saturday, along with his assistant for quality and hotel affairs Faraj Al-Qashqoush to the city of Daraa, to participate in the launch of the "Abshari Horan" event, which is considered one of the most prominent developmental initiatives in the governorate, aiming to support service projects and enhance community solidarity.

Coinciding with the arrival of the ministerial delegation, there was a wide deployment of internal security forces, military police, and traffic police around the Roman amphitheater in the city of Busra al-Sham, as part of the logistical preparations for the launch of the event, which attracts thousands of participants from various areas of Horan.

The campaign, according to the organizing entities, seeks to improve the service and living conditions in the governorate through a series of activities and projects that include rehabilitating infrastructure, supporting the tourism, educational, and health sectors, in addition to enhancing the role of the local community in sustainable development.

The Busra al-Sham Castle and the Roman amphitheater are considered a symbolic starting point for the campaign, due to their historical and cultural value, and their capacity to accommodate large public events, as live broadcast points have been set up in the nearby villages to ease the pressure on the main site.
