A wide security campaign by "SDF" in Hasakah: 86 detainees and a curfew in the neighborhoods

The number of detainees has risen to 86 during the security campaign carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces "SDF" in several neighborhoods of Hasakah city, coinciding with the imposition of a partial curfew in various areas, today Saturday, amid a heavy presence of armored vehicles and checkpoints.

According to local sources, the campaign included the neighborhoods of Ghuwayran, al-Nashwa, and al-Layla, where "SDF" members conducted extensive raids on homes, searched mobile phones, and checked personal identities, amid calls through loudspeakers for residents of the neighborhoods not to leave their homes.

The campaign, which "SDF" described as a "security sweep," targets what it claims are hideouts and sleeper cells belonging to ISIS, and aims to thwart potential plans to target prisons and detention centers in the city.
