Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor, confirmed that the anticipated launch of the new artificial intelligence model "K2 Think" represents a significant milestone in the UAE's journey to enhance its contribution to the development of future technologies and solidify its position as one of the key players in the global artificial intelligence sector.
Sheikh Tahnoun stated through his official account on the "X" platform: "K2 Think" combines the efficiency of smaller models and world-class performance with advanced inference speeds, surpassing larger models to set a new international standard in the field of open-source inference.
He added that the partnership between Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence and G42 Group represents a model of integration between academic circles and institutions in the public and private sectors, contributing to turning national ambitions into tangible achievements.
