This Friday morning, the Syrian women's national football team left to participate in the West Asia Championship, which will officially kick off next Sunday in the Jordanian capital.

According to "Al-Watan" newspaper, "the team will face Jordan in the opening match, play against Kuwait on Tuesday, and meet Palestine next Thursday."

The newspaper reported that "the team's preparation conditions were not ideal, limited to an internal camp that started on March 18, with a preparation period not exceeding 20 days."

It is worth mentioning that the Syrian youth team won the West Asia Championship title in November 2023, which was also held in Jordan.
