Cristiano Ronaldo, the 40-year-old Portuguese star, has signed a new contract with the Saudi club Al-Nassr, considered the largest in global sports history, with revenues exceeding half a billion dollars in just two years.


According to the British newspaper The Sun, the new contract grants Ronaldo a daily basic salary of $670,000 (2.5 million Saudi Riyals), equivalent to over $244 million annually (915 million Saudi Riyals), with huge bonuses and astronomical financial incentives linked to performance and championships.


Here is a list of what Ronaldo receives:

. $33.7 million signing bonus, rising to $52 million if the contract is extended for a second year.
. 15% ownership stake in Al-Nassr Club (approximately $45 million).
. $110,000 for each goal, increasing by 20% in the second year.

. $11 million if Al-Nassr wins the league title.
. $5.5 million if Ronaldo wins the top scorer award.
. $9 million if qualifying and winning the AFC Champions League.
