In a significant step towards enhancing the quality of satellite broadcasting, the General Authority of Radio and Television has signed a new contract with the Qatari company "Es'hailSat" to broadcast the Syrian News Channel in high quality. The channel will be broadcast via the Es'hail 2 satellite located at 26 degrees east, in addition to providing additional capacity on the Es'hail 1 satellite. This agreement is part of the Authority's strategy to enhance the Syrian News Channel's ability to transmit news and information through the latest satellite technologies, relying on specialized Syrian media personnel in the field of satellite broadcasting. This move represents a qualitative leap in delivering media content more clearly and with higher quality, contributing to better meeting the audience's needs. The contract was signed at the Authority's headquarters in Damascus during a visit by a delegation from "Es'hailSat," in the presence of prominent officials from both sides. Among the attendees were Mr. Alaa Barsilou, the General Director of the Authority, Mr. Abdelkader Najem, the Technical Director, Engineer Firas Qabakibi, the Director of Solutions and Accounts, and Mr. Fahd Abdel Aal, the Sales Director of "Es'hailSat." This step comes at a crucial time as the General Authority of Radio and Television seeks to enhance its ability to provide a more advanced and professional media service, positively impacting the reputation of Syrian media in the satellite arena.
