The Syrian Minister of Communications Discusses Digital Cooperation with Saudi STC Company

A delegation from the Syrian Ministry of Communications and Technology visited the headquarters of Saudi Telecom Company STC today, Wednesday, led by Minister Abdul Salam Haykal, to review the work models and technological developments that the company has achieved in recent years.

According to what the ministry published via its official Telegram channel, the two sides discussed ways to cooperate in the fields of digital infrastructure, service development, knowledge transfer, and building national capacities, which enhances the direction towards comprehensive digital transformation in Syria.

During the meeting, STC officials showcased their most significant technical and innovative achievements, which are considered a regional reference in institutional performance efficiency, while Minister Haykal emphasized the importance of benefiting from these experiences during the digital establishment phase that Syria is currently undergoing.

This visit comes as part of opening coordination channels with the Saudi private sector and creating a common ground for fruitful cooperation that serves the technical and economic interests of both countries and enhances digital integration opportunities in the region.
