A High-Level Syrian Delegation Visits Saudi "Elm" to Enhance Cooperation in Digital Transformation and Smart Services

A high-level delegation from the Syrian Ministry of Communications and Technology, headed by Minister Engineer Abdul Salam Haykal, met with officials from the Saudi "Elm" company during a visit to the company's headquarters to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of digital transformation and advanced technical solutions.
During the meeting, according to what the ministry published on its official channel on "Telegram", the experience of "Elm" in digitizing government services, managing digital identity, and cybersecurity solutions was reviewed, in addition to open and interconnected data systems.
The discussion focused on the prospects for cooperation between the two sides in the fields of digital transformation, enhancing government transparency, automating services, and linking national databases.
In this context, Minister Haykal emphasized the company's extensive experience in building digital systems in partnership with Saudi government institutions, affirming that "Syria is working to establish a national digital infrastructure that benefits from pioneering experiences in the region."
For their part, "Elm" officials expressed their welcome for cooperation with the Syrian side, confirming their "readiness to exchange experiences and explore opportunities for technical and consulting cooperation" in support of the digital transformation process and enhancing technical infrastructures.
