The Syrian Minister of Energy inspects the Twinan gas facility and launches its operation after repairing the two halted turbines

The Syrian Minister of Energy, Mohammad Al-Bashir, announced during his inspection of the Twinan gas facility in the countryside of Homs, the official launch of work there after the technical teams completed the repair and rehabilitation of the two gas turbines that had been halted for a while.
The visit of Minister Al-Bashir came to assess the reality of work and production at the facility, and the proposed plans to enhance the performance of the gas sector and increase its production quantities.
During his tour of the various sections of the facility, the minister listened to a detailed explanation from the engineering and technical teams about the progress of operations, where he was informed about the efforts made to restart the turbines. The teams confirmed that this achievement "will significantly contribute to improving the reality of electrical supply and supporting power generation stations."
In his comments on the achievement, Al-Bashir praised the efforts made, considering that what has been accomplished in Twinan "represents a model of national expertise capable of overcoming challenges and achieving successes despite difficult circumstances."
It is noteworthy that Minister Al-Bashir's agenda on the same day also included a field visit to the Taym oil field and the Taym oil and electricity generation stations in Deir ez-Zor province, to assess the reality of work there.
