Security campaign targets "Hezbollah" cells in Sayeda Zainab, Damascus countryside.

The Rural Damascus Security Directorate launched a security campaign on Thursday, March 27, targeting cells affiliated with the Lebanese "Hezbollah" in the Sayeda Zainab area in the countryside of Damascus, "planning to carry out criminal operations in the area."
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a source in the Ministry of Interior stating that security forces managed to arrest some of them.
This campaign comes within the ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability in the region.
This was parallel to a security campaign in the old neighborhoods of Damascus, where security forces managed to arrest elements affiliated with remnants of the previous regime, and explosive devices, weapons, and ammunition prepared for detonation in vital areas were found in their possession.
