The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center announced yesterday, Thursday, the dispatch of the seventeenth batch of the Saudi humanitarian land bridge dedicated to supporting the Syrian people.
This batch included various medical and logistical aids, notably 10 modern ambulances equipped to serve emergency cases in affected areas.
The center stated on its official website that the total aid provided since the beginning of the year includes 16 relief planes and 625 trucks loaded with over 10,000 tons of relief materials.
It also mentioned the implementation of over 1200 surgeries within the "Hope" volunteer program in Syria, aiming to carry out 104 diverse medical and surgical campaigns, in addition to providing training, educational programs, and initiatives targeting the economic empowerment of affected communities.
This support is part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Center, to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people and provide essential needs amid the difficult humanitarian conditions the country is facing.
