Saudi Arabia and Oman Discuss Regional Stability Amid Iran-U.S. Talks

In an important phone call, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Foreign Minister, discussed the latest regional developments and efforts to enhance stability in the region with his Omani counterpart Badr al-Busaidi.
This call comes after the conclusion of the third round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States, hosted by Oman, which was announced to have made "significant progress," according to statements from the Omani Foreign Minister, indicating that talks would resume soon after consultations in Tehran and Washington.
For its part, the Kingdom confirmed that the success of negotiations between the United States and Iran would pave the way for enhancing security and peace in the region, and supported efforts to continue dialogue to ensure regional and global stability, emphasizing that positive outcomes from the talks would open avenues for joint cooperation in security and diplomatic fields.
Saudi Arabia hopes that these historic discussions, which aim to achieve tangible progress between Tehran and Washington, will make the region safer and more stable, reflecting Riyadh and Oman’s role in supporting constructive dialogue among major powers.
