Reports: Kushner and Witkoff on their way to Egypt to participate in Gaza negotiations

According to CNN, citing informed sources, U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner are expected to head to Egypt today, Tuesday, to participate in negotiations related to the Gaza file.  

The sources added that Qatar and Egypt may finalize agreed-upon procedures with the arrival of the U.S. delegation, in an attempt to push the negotiation process forward.  

Reports indicated that the stated goal is to reach an agreement during this week, but the chances of achieving that remain unclear amid the field and political complexities surrounding the issue.

The Axios website reported from informed sources that President Donald Trump met with his national security team to discuss the progress of the Gaza negotiations before Witkoff and Kushner's departure to Egypt.
