Rabiot Faces Crisis with Marseille.. and His Mother Launches Attack on Club Management

The crisis of French international Adrien Rabiot with Olympique Marseille has taken a new turn after the management's decision to put the player up for sale, following a fight that broke out between him and his teammate Jonathan Rowe after the loss to Rennes in the opening of the French league.
The decision angered the player's mother and agent, Veronique Rabiot, who launched a scathing attack on the Marseille board, accusing it of misleading public opinion.
She stated in comments to "RTL": "A player cannot be excluded just for a quarrel in the locker room; everyone knows that football is full of such matters, but the truth is that the issue is related to money, not what they claim," confirming that what happened did not cause any physical injuries as some tried to portray.
She added: "They talk about severe violence, while no one went to the hospital and no real damage was recorded; the story is greatly exaggerated. Yes, a fight occurred, but not in the way they are trying to promote it."
This escalation comes at a time when Jonathan Rowe is expected to transfer to the Italian club Bologna, complicating the scene further within the southern club that is facing a chaotic start to the season on both technical and administrative levels.
