Putin: Russia is a key pillar in the energy market and secures one-tenth of global oil production

Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that his country continues to maintain its vital position in the global energy market, contributing about 10% of the total oil production in the world, noting that Russia will remain a key player in the balance of global supplies.
Putin's statements came during his speech at the general session of the "Russian Energy Week" forum held in Moscow, which is one of the most prominent international events in the energy sector with the participation of officials and experts from various countries around the world.
The Russian president explained that global oil demand is expected to reach 104.5 million barrels per day by 2025, driven by steady economic growth that enhances the need for energy sources of all kinds.
Putin emphasized that the energy system in Russia is one of the most developed and extensive in the world, confirming that the reduction of Russian oil production is carried out within the framework of Moscow's commitments to the "OPEC+" agreements, which aim to ensure the stability of global markets.
