President Ahmad al-Shara visits Aleppo Governorate and discusses development projects before the opening of the historic castle

Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara visited the Aleppo Governorate building today, Saturday, where he met with Governor Azzam al-Ghareeb and several officials from the governorate, in an official visit that addressed the service reality and infrastructure in the city, alongside discussing development projects aimed at improving services and enhancing local development.

During the meeting, government plans to support vital sectors in Aleppo were reviewed, including the rehabilitation of public facilities and the development of infrastructure, amid ongoing efforts to revive the city after years of challenges.

President al-Shara is scheduled to attend the opening ceremony of Aleppo Castle, one of the most prominent historical landmarks in the city, after the completion of restoration works supported by national and international entities, in a symbolic step reflecting the return of life to the heart of the old city.
