New travel ban to America.. Conditional exceptions to be aware of

President Donald Trump signed a travel ban to the United States from 12 countries, in addition to "partial travel restrictions" on 7 more countries, citing concerns related to American national security.
The American President confirmed the possibility of reviewing the list in case of "substantial improvements" and adding other countries with emerging "new threats."
Despite the severity of the new American decision, there are exceptions benefiting citizens of the affected countries who can still enter the United States, including:
- Legal permanent residents in the United States
- Immediate family members holding immigrant visas
- U.S. government employees with special immigrant visas
- Adoption cases
- Dual nationals if not traveling on a passport from one of the affected countries
- Afghan citizens holding special immigrant visas
- Holders of "immigrant visas for racial and religious minorities facing persecution in Iran"
- Athletes and their immediate families (including coaches and support staff) traveling to attend major sporting events, such as the 2026 World Cup or the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics
In addition, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio may grant exemptions to individuals on a case-by-case basis if "the person serves the national interest of the United States."
