Nawaf Salam: Lebanon is coordinating with the international community to facilitate the return of Syrian refugees.

The Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, stated today that his country continues its efforts in coordination with the international community to facilitate the return of Syrian refugees to their homeland.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted Mikati as saying in a speech today during the conference "Rebuilding Lebanon: Investment Framework and Business Opportunities": "We are working with the international community to ensure the safe return of Syrian refugees."
Mikati pointed out that Israeli attacks have destroyed infrastructure and affected the lives of Lebanese people who have stood steadfastly and resiliently, as well as companies and institutions that have endured despite the collapse, considering that the time has come to build the state, which is one of the government's top priorities.
Mikati explained that weapons have been removed from more than 500 storage facilities in the south and security has been enhanced at Beirut airport, noting that efforts are ongoing with diplomatic channels to stop Israel's attacks on Lebanon and withdraw from the five points.
