NATO announced today, Wednesday, that forces from nine allied countries participated in joint military exercises conducted in Poland, aimed at enhancing operational integration among the member states' armies.
The alliance clarified that the maneuvers included air, land, sea, and cyber space, as part of raising the readiness level to deal with complex operational environments and multiple threats.
These exercises are part of a series of maneuvers conducted by NATO in Eastern Europe, amid rising tensions with Russia, and the alliance's efforts to strengthen its defensive and deterrent capabilities on its eastern borders.
