Moscow: No agreement between Putin and Trump to hold a meeting with Zelensky

Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin and American President Donald Trump did not agree to hold a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, emphasizing that what is published in the media on this topic does not accurately reflect what was agreed upon.
Ushakov clarified in statements to Russia 1 channel that Moscow and Washington are still working with leaders of other countries based on the agreements reached during the recent summit in Alaska, but he stressed that talk of a trilateral meeting or a direct meeting between Putin and Zelensky is "not accurate at this time".
It was noted that the American magazine The Atlantic reported that Trump expressed his annoyance at the demands of Zelensky and European leaders regarding the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict, considering these demands "unrealistic", and that Kyiv should accept the possibility of losing some of its territories to end the crisis with Moscow.
It is worth mentioning that Putin and Trump held a meeting on August 15 at a military base in Alaska, where the Ukrainian crisis was at the top of the agenda.
