Macron: We are working to prevent escalation in the Middle East and enhance security in the Eastern Mediterranean

French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed on Monday that his country is taking all necessary measures to protect its citizens and economy, while also contributing to preventing escalation in the Middle East.

Macron explained that France is also working to enhance security measures around Cyprus and in the Eastern Mediterranean, amid rising tensions in the region.
