The media office of the Ministry of Interior announced that one of its night patrols deployed at Al-Azhar roundabout in Latakia city was shot at and bombed by unknown individuals.
According to the ministry, "Two unknown individuals riding a motorcycle opened fire and threw grenades at the night patrols stationed at Al-Azhar roundabout."
The office added that "The attack resulted in the injury of two patrol members and the 'killing' of a woman during the clashes."
