Kuwait welcomes the decision of the International Labour Organization to grant Palestine the status of "Observer State."

Kuwait expressed today, Saturday, its welcome to the decision of the International Labor Organization to grant Palestine the status of "non-member observer state," which was adopted during the 113th session of the International Labor Conference held in Geneva.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a press statement that "this decision represents international recognition of the justice of the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.
This decision is in line with the United Nations General Assembly resolution issued in 2024, which calls for Palestine to obtain full membership in the United Nations."
The ministry reiterated "Kuwait's consistent support for the Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with its capital in East Jerusalem."
