The Russian Ministry of Defense said today, Saturday, that Russia expects the Ukrainian authorities to soon make the necessary decisions to exchange prisoners of war and transfer the remains of Ukrainian soldiers. The ministry, quoting Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin, stated: "So far, Kyiv has not given its approval to carry out humanitarian operations. Ukrainian representatives of the contact group have not arrived at the meeting location. We do not know the reason for the delay." Earlier today, Ukraine denied what Russia said about Kyiv delaying the prisoner exchange operations indefinitely.
