Jordanian security reveals the identity of the girl’s killer after a suspicious suicide attempt

The Jordanian Public Security Directorate announced the details of the incident involving the discovery of a girl buried in a deserted area in the capital, after the forensic report indicated that the cause of death was manual strangulation.
The media spokesperson explained that investigations identified the girl’s identity and narrowed down the suspicions to a person who had been hiding. As search operations began, a report was received on Tuesday morning about a person attempting suicide by jumping from the second floor in the Bayader area of the capital, later found to be the suspect in the murder.
After receiving treatment, the accused confessed that he killed the girl following a dispute between them, and then buried her in a deserted area with the help of a relative, who was also arrested. Authorities confirmed that the case will be referred to the public prosecutor of the Grand Criminal Court to complete the legal procedures.
