The Israeli Foreign Minister describes pro-Palestinian marches as bearing the traits of anti-Semitism

The Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar said today, Friday, that he discussed with his British counterpart the necessity of confronting pro-Palestinian protests and marches, considering them to "bear the traits of anti-Semitism," according to his expression.

He added that he emphasized during the call that "anti-Zionism is a form of anti-Semitism," in a position that sparked widespread controversy over the limits of freedom of expression and Israel's stance on international solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

These statements come amid the expansion of pro-Palestinian demonstrations in several Western capitals, protesting the military escalation in Gaza and the violations against civilians.
