Israeli Defense Minister Threatens Houthi Leader: "Your Turn Will Come"

Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Katz, threatened the leader of the Houthi group in Yemen, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, saying via the "X" platform: "Oh Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, your turn will come".
Katz added in his explicit threat: "You will be sent to meet your government members," vowing that the Houthi slogan "Death to Israel" will be replaced by the Israeli flag in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a.
These statements came following a military escalation, as the Israeli army announced on Thursday that it intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, stating in a statement: "The air force intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, which triggered alarms in several areas".
The coastal city of Eilat was also attacked by a drone, where Israeli police reported that their forces "secured the impact site" of a drone launched from the east. The army confirmed in a separate statement that "search and rescue teams are working in the area where the impact report was received," noting that the air force intercepted a second drone coming from the same direction.
The Houthis initiated the adoption of executing "three military operations" against Israel.
This exchange of threats comes amid escalating clashes, as the Israeli army has recently intensified its strikes targeting the Houthis, resulting in the deaths of dozens last week in the capital Sana'a. The Israeli strikes in August had led to the assassination of the Prime Minister of the Houthi government and nine ministers and officials.
Since the start of the war in Gaza, the Houthi group has increased its attacks using missiles and drones against Israel, as well as targeting commercial ships off the coast of Yemen that they claim are linked to Israel.
In response to these attacks, Israel launched airstrikes on sites in Yemen, including ports (including Hodeidah), power stations, and Sana'a International Airport.
The Israeli Defense Minister concluded his threats by affirming that the Houthis "will continue to receive strikes and pay a heavy price for any attempt to attack the State of Israel".
