Israel.. Teacher Dismissed After Scandal of "Inappropriate Relationship" with Her Students

The Ministry of Education in Israel decided to dismiss a 43-year-old teacher from her job and prevent her from teaching again after it was proven that she was involved in a sexual relationship with two 17-year-old students.
The Civil Service Commission clarified in the rationale for its decision that the teacher's behavior "grossly exceeded the required professional and ethical boundaries," noting that she established inappropriate relationships with students, starting with smoking cigarettes and communicating via social media, and ending with hosting them in her home.
According to the decision, the teacher has been banned from working in any educational or governmental institution for varying periods, including an 8-year complete ban from dealing with children and youth, and 3 years from any government job.
During the hearing, the teacher admitted to the incident, but described it as a "one-time incident" that put her in a "personal crisis," justifying her actions by the long absences of her husband due to his reserve military service.
For its part, the Ministry of Education emphasized that it "will not tolerate any violation of educational values or exploitation of the trust granted to teachers," confirming that it will continue to take strict measures to protect students and uphold the integrity of the educational system.
The case has shocked the local community, as parents and students described the incident as "a blow to the community's trust in the school and teachers."
