Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister: Legitimate Defense and Nuclear Energy are Guaranteed Rights

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani stated today, Monday, that Tehran will resort to its inherent right to legitimate defense when necessary, based on the United Nations and its charter.

He affirmed that Iran's right to possess peaceful nuclear energy is non-negotiable, emphasizing that it is guaranteed under international law.

He added that any upcoming negotiations must be based on mutual respect, with the implementation of international rules in a non-selective manner, noting that there is a new opportunity to address disputes through dialogue.
