As the conflict between Iran and Israel escalates, exacerbated by America's direct and aggressive involvement, Bahrain announced today, Sunday, the activation of remote work at a rate of 70% in ministries and government agencies.

The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) quoted the Civil Service Bureau as stating, "In light of regional developments and current circumstances, remote work in ministries and government agencies has been activated at a rate of 70%, excluding sectors that require in-person presence or have special procedures in emergency situations, in accordance with public safety requirements."

The statement noted that the decision takes effect as of today until further notice, according to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA).

This comes in conjunction with the Ministry of Education in Bahrain announcing that it has issued instructions to all educational institutions, from "kindergartens to universities," to activate digital platforms for educational operations as a precautionary measure amidst the current circumstances in the region. The ministry has prepared an approved plan to ensure the continuity of the education system in the current situation.

The ministry stated that all educational institutions wishing to inquire or seek support in managing their operations can communicate with the ministry and the Higher Education Council through the official communication channels as usual.
