Impersonation of a Female and Publishing Obscene Content.. Details of the Arrest of the Blogger "Yasmin" in Egypt

Egyptian security forces arrested a famous blogger on social media who was disguising as a female to publish content that violates public morals. Investigations revealed that the account known as "Yasmin Takhli Al-Hajar Yalin" was managed by a man who used a feminine appearance to attract followers and generate financial profits.
The arrest came after videos containing sexual insinuations and offensive language circulated. Security forces found electronic devices and sexual tools in the possession of the accused during the search, which reinforced the charges against him. The public prosecutor decided to detain him for four days pending investigation on charges related to impersonating a female, fraud, and publishing materials that violate morals.
This step is part of a broader security campaign targeting illegal content on social media platforms. Authorities recently arrested several content creators who violated regulations, including "Um Sajda" who faces charges of inciting immorality and cyber extortion, and "Suzy the Jordanian" accused of publishing inappropriate content directed at minors.
The campaign also included the arrest of "Mawra Yasri" after she accused the artist Wafa Amer without evidence of being involved in human organ trafficking cases. In a related measure, the Cairo Money Laundering Court upheld the decision to confiscate the funds and properties of some celebrities accused of publishing violating content, including "Um Sajda" who received money in exchange for broadcasting obscene videos.
