Heatwave Sweeps Across Europe: Deaths and Fires Reported

Forest fires have claimed the lives of two people in Spain, while another two have died in France due to a heatwave sweeping across Europe, leading to the shutdown of a nuclear reactor at a Swiss power station.
Officials in Spain reported that a forest fire broke out in Catalonia, resulting in the deaths of two individuals the previous day. The French Ministry of Energy also announced the deaths of two individuals due to the heatwave, with 300 others being hospitalized.
The French Minister of Energy, Anies Bagnie Ronachier, explained that Spain experienced its hottest June on record this year, while France saw its hottest June since 2003.
Larger parts of France experienced a severe heatwave yesterday, with the alert level raised to the highest in 16 regions, including Paris. Temperatures exceeded 41 degrees Celsius in southern and central France, while the capital recorded 38 degrees.
