Hamas to Trump: We are not the obstacle to a ceasefire, but Netanyahu is

The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" denied accusations from U.S. President Donald Trump that it is obstructing efforts to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, asserting that it has shown "all the required flexibility," and that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is responsible for hindering negotiations.
In a statement from the movement, published via its channel on "Telegram": "Hamas has never been an obstacle to reaching an agreement for a ceasefire in Gaza, and has provided the necessary flexibility and positivity; the whole world knows that war criminal Netanyahu is the one obstructing all attempts to reach an agreement."
The statement pointed out that Netanyahu "reneged on the agreement from last January, ignored the Weitkov proposal that the movement had accepted, before proceeding to bomb the location of the movement's delegation meeting in Doha, while discussing Trump's latest paper."
Hamas also called on the U.S. administration to "abandon its biased policy, uphold the values of justice, and pressure Israel to stop what it described as crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing, and lift the political and military cover from the aggression."
In contrast, U.S. President Donald Trump said today, Tuesday, that he is seeking to reach a ceasefire in Gaza, but that "Hamas has repeatedly rejected all the proposed offers."
He warned that some countries moving to recognize the Palestinian state "unilaterally" are "rewarding Hamas for the atrocities it has committed," emphasizing that the movement "refuses to release the hostages and ceasefire."
Trump concluded by saying: "Those who want to achieve peace must send one message: Release the hostages now."
