From fame to the dock... Has the legend of Dr. Vood come to an end?

The name of the famous Lebanese activist George Deeb, known as "Dr. Food," has returned to the spotlight once again, but this time not because of his controversial content, but due to serious charges that threaten his entire future.

The investigating judge in Mount Lebanon, Ziad Daghidi, issued his provisional decision, accusing Deeb and others of committing serious crimes under drug laws, leading to his referral to the criminal court, a shocking turn of events that has turned his life upside down.

The story began in February 2024, when his ex-wife Shorouk "Sunshine" exposed a scandal, accusing him of marital infidelity, revealing that he was traveling under the pretext of work while meeting his mistresses, and even leaving their 3-month-old child alone during one of his romantic encounters.

What started as a family scandal turned into a more serious criminal case, as things escalated in May 2024 when authorities charged him with drug manufacturing and trafficking.

Faced with these allegations, Deeb tried to evade, claiming he only used drugs and did not traffic them, but investigations revealed a shocking surprise: he was using his food factory as a cover to produce drug-filled candies and smuggle them!

In September 2024, Shorouk returned to defend him, affirming his innocence and demanding his release, but found herself amidst a storm of criticism, as many wondered: why the change of heart? Are there hidden pressures behind it?

Despite all these accusations, Deeb did not stop stirring controversy, using a provocative style to respond to his critics on social media, in a final attempt to save face.
