The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo revealed a new surprise about his physical condition, as he discovered that he is biologically 11 years younger than his actual age.
Despite being 40 years old, physiological data measured using specialized "Whoop" devices for tracking fitness and health showed that his biological age is only 28.9 years.
Ronaldo, born on February 5, 1985 in Madeira, explained that this result means he may continue playing for another 10 years.
This discovery was part of an experiment conducted by the Saudi Al-Nassr striker in the "Whoop" podcast, a technology company specialized in fitness monitoring devices.
"Whoop" devices measure a range of data such as heart rate, heart rate variability, as well as monitoring sleep, physical exertion, stress levels, and recovery.
Many professional athletes, including Cristiano Ronaldo, rely on this technology to maintain the best possible performance for a longer period.
It is worth noting that optimal performance for Ronaldo is not limited to the field only, but includes making calculated decisions on and off the field, where these devices help monitor over 140 behaviors that significantly impact his athletic performance.
