Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé wins the Ballon d'Or 2025 after an exceptional season with Paris Saint-Germain

The French magazine France Football announced this Monday evening in Paris that the French international Ousmane Dembélé, forward of Paris Saint-Germain, has won the Ballon d'Or for the best player in the world for 2025.
Dembélé (28 years old) surpassed the Spaniard Lamine Yamal of Barcelona, while the Portuguese Vitinha of Paris Saint-Germain came in third place.
Dembélé's significant contributions played a key role in Paris Saint-Germain winning five titles during the last season (2024-2025), including the club's first title in the UEFA Champions League. He also won several individual awards, including the UEFA Champions League Player of the Season, Ligue 1 Player of the Season, in addition to being the top scorer of the tournament with 35 goals and 16 assists across various competitions.
