Ofer Bronstein, the French President's advisor for peace in the Middle East, stated in remarks to Al Jazeera on Monday that any political settlement cannot be imposed on the Palestinians without their consent, emphasizing the need to respect their will in any negotiation process.
Bronstein added that Paris welcomes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's apology to Qatar regarding the bombing, which he described as "unjustified," confirming that France is closely monitoring the developments of the Sharm El Sheikh negotiations.
