France Calls on Israel to Avoid Ground Operation in Lebanon and Requests Emergency UN Security Council Meeting

The French Foreign Ministry expressed its deep concern over the rising violence in Lebanon, confirming that it has requested an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council tomorrow to discuss developments.

Paris also condemned Hezbollah's decision to join Iranian attacks, describing the move as "irresponsible," and urged the party to cease its military operations.
