The English Football Association has imposed a financial penalty of £45,000 (about $60,000) on Millwall FC due to offensive chants made by some of its fans during a previous match against Crystal Palace in the League Cup.
The club, which competes in the English Championship, accepted the penalty after it was proven that a number of its supporters chanted discriminatory phrases offensive to people with disabilities during the match.
