Families of prisoners in Gaza warn Netanyahu against obstructing 'Trump's plan'.. and 'Hamas' responds: Their fate is in his hands

The families of Israeli prisoners held in the Gaza Strip issued a direct warning to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer against attempting to obstruct the new American initiative aimed at ending the war in the region.
This position from the families came via 'Channel 12' in Israel, which reported that the families "call on the American administration not to allow the new initiative regarding Gaza to fail, and we warn against a new attempt by Netanyahu and Dermer to obstruct Trump's plan for Gaza."
In a related context, the 'Israeli Broadcasting Authority' (Kan) revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump intends to announce soon, in coordination with Arab countries, a plan for a ceasefire. However, Israeli sources expressed skepticism about Hamas's agreement to the terms of this plan.
Informed sources on the negotiations indicated, according to the authority, that the expected American announcement includes principles for ending the war that have received preliminary Israeli approval, most notably the release of all prisoners and ending Hamas's control over governance in the Gaza Strip.
For its part, Hamas commented on these developments with a decisive statement, saying: "The fate of the hostages is in Netanyahu's hands," indicating that the ball to end the crisis is now in the Israeli court.
In an effort to advance the process, White House envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, met with Prime Minister Netanyahu yesterday, where they conveyed a personal message from President Trump stating: "The president believes it is time to seek an end to the war. Bibi, the time has come."
The American envoys aim to arrange a meeting soon between Trump and Netanyahu, at a time when reports indicate that preliminary agreements are already in place on a plan to end the war. Israeli officials described the meeting between the envoys and Netanyahu as "tense, but with high morale."
While the differences between the parties seem, according to sources, not significant and warrant intensive negotiations mediated by Egypt and Qatar, those surrounding the Israeli Prime Minister emphasize non-negotiable principles, stressing that "any plan will involve the complete dismantling of Hamas and we will not compromise on this."
