Explosion of a bomb in Artouz, rural Damascus, and two injuries during the attempt to dismantle it

Local media sources reported on Saturday that an explosion occurred due to a bomb planted inside a car in the town of Artouz in rural Damascus, resulting in at least two injuries during the attempt by engineering teams to dismantle the bomb.

According to initial information, the bomb was planted in a complex manner inside the vehicle and exploded during the dismantling process, causing material damage to the site, in addition to human injuries.

Relevant authorities have begun an investigation into the incident, amid security reinforcements in the area, while no party has claimed responsibility for the explosion so far.
