Erdogan: Importance of Supporting and Cooperating the Entire Islamic World to Preserve the Safety of Syrian Territories and National Unity

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized the importance of supporting and cooperating the entire Islamic world to preserve the safety of Syrian territories, maintain its national unity, and achieve permanent stability in it.
In a speech today, Saturday, in front of the 51st session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's Foreign Ministers Council held in Istanbul with Syria's participation, Erdogan said: "We are pleased to open new doors and pages for the Syrian state, for its return to the organization's membership, and for the progress made in its integration into the international community. We are optimistic about the Syrian people achieving successes after long years of living in injustice, difficulties, and crises."
The Turkish President also pointed out that Israel attacks Syria, Lebanon, and the countries of the region in order to increase chaos, warning that these attacks could lead to the explosion of the entire region.
Erdogan emphasized the necessity of solidarity and cooperation among Islamic countries to confront the challenges and crises in the region, stating that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation includes fifty-seven countries with significant capabilities and potentials, and if united, they will form a formidable force.
