The Syrian Foreign Minister and Expatriates, Asaad al-Shibani, met today, Saturday, with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, on the sidelines of the 51st session of the Foreign Ministers Council of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation held in Istanbul.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated through its channel on Telegram that the ministers discussed the developments in the region and ways to enhance bilateral relations between Syria and Azerbaijan.

They emphasized the importance of activating cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
