During his speech at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly held in New York, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that his country supports a unified, stable, and terrorism-free vision for Syria, stressing the continued Turkish support for the Syrian people in various fields.
Erdogan stated that Syria has triumphed and turned the page on injustice after the liberation and the fall of the ousted regime last December, considering that the current phase represents a new beginning towards security and stability.
The Turkish president also praised the positions of Gulf countries supporting a stable vision for Syria, affirming the importance of regional cooperation in supporting reconstruction efforts and enhancing peace in the region.
